Project Title
Multi-Fidelity Modeling and Health Monitoring for a Composite Wing
Research Expertise & Interests

Structural health monitoring, finite element modeling & analysis, model updating

His current research interest includes the development of a high-fidelity and low-fidelity finite element model of a composite UAV wing, specifically improving the current model’s accuracy to experimental data through model correlation and updating.

Bio

Brian is an undergraduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute majoring in Mechanical and Aeronautical engineering. He is currently working with Intelligent Structural Systems Laboratory (ISSL) as part of the group’s efforts into the creation of a multi-fidelity model framework for analysis. Outside of the lab group, he is also involved in Engineering Ambassadors, Tau Beta Pi, and Rensselaer Crew.
