Her research interests include structural health monitoring, composite materials and structures, finite element modeling and analysis. She was earlier involved in granular physics research with WPI's Aerospace Structures and Materials Lab (ASML).

Bio

Elizabeth is a PhD student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering (MANE). She is affiliated with the Intelligent Structural Systems Laboratory (ISSL). Her current research focuses on probabilistic structural health monitoring of composite structures under impact testing. Elizabeth holds a BSc. in Aerospace Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. In addition to her academic pursuits, she brings hands-on expertise from the Aviation Industry in safety management, emergency response planning, and aviation internal auditing. She demonstrates a strong commitment to STEM advocacy and community impact projects and has played a pivotal role as co-founder of both STEMClever.org and the GleeChild Initiative in her home country, Ghana.
