Bio

Mr. Ahmed is a PhD student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear (MANE) engineering. He is affiliated with Intelligent Structural Systems Laboratory (ISSL) where his current work is focused on uncertainty quantification of the active sensing guided wave based structural health monitoring by using advanced statistical and probabilistic techniques. He holds an MS degree from North Dakota State University (NDSU) and a BS from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) all in Mechanical Engineering.
